How can I make a scrapbook without actually buying a scrapbook?

My friend is moving next week and I want to make her a scrapbook of all the things we’ve done together. I went shopping yesterday and spent over $100, so my mom’s not giving me any more money. I have craft glue, tape, glitter, beads, construction paper, pictures, and everything else, but I don’t have a scrapbook. I’ve searched online on how to make the scrapbook, but I haven’t gotten any good answers. HELP!

Beginning Scrapbooking – Tips, Tools and Layouts

Amazon.com
New to scrapbooking? Wondering what materials and tools you’ll need to safely preserve your precious photos and documents? Heard of “archivally safe” scrapbooking techniques but not sure what that means? Like to watch beautiful multi-item layouts put together by an experienced scrapbooker? Then this 96 minute DVD is for you. Meet Amy Bannister, the host of this video. Amy has been scrapbooking and teaching others how to scrapbook most of her life.

In “Beginning Scrapbooking, Tips, Tools and Layouts” Amy discusses basic scrapbooking terms, such as archivally safe, lignin and acid-free. Then she shows you scrapbooking tools and materials you’ll need to create beautiful scrapbooking memories. Finally Amy actually demonstrates several layouts from start to finish using your basic tool kit. She will show you step by step how to get your photos out of boxes and onto your scrapbook pages quickly and easily.

The layouts demonstrated in this DVD include:

The Six Photo Layout (A nice way to showcase several layouts from one event on 1 two-page layout, using only a few supplies and a simple paper tearing technique.)

Patterned Paper Layout (A great layout to get your feet wet using patterned paper. By tearing, you only need to buy 1 sheet of patterned paper, which is generally more expensive than plain paper.)

Another Six Photo Layout (A nice layout for six photos, but is easily adapted to hold more photos or memorabilia.)

The Three Photo Layout (In this layout we use a personal die cutter to make some shapes to use for embellishments on this one page layout.)

The Seven Photo Layout With 3 12×12 Papers (This layout uses different papers in a layering technique to achieve a simple collage effect.)

The Ten Photo Layout (A fantastic way to get a lot pictures with one theme or from one event into your scrapbooks with little effort. Its design is highly adaptable to any changes you may need to make to fit your photos.)

Six Photo Layout With Torn Strip Color Blocking (In this layout we use torn card stock to create a beautiful custom background.)

Anxious to get started? Just pop in this DVD, take some notes on what you’ll need to get started, purchase your tools and materials and start scrappin’. Before you know it, you’ll have a scrapbook that’ll make you the envy of your family and friends.

Producer’s Note: We are constantly on the lookout for people with special interests, talents and hobbies. If we can find a market for them, we would be willing to produce an instructional video at no charge to the expert. We are always open to ideas and new talent
